Accreditation

As the peak body for superannuation, ASFA promotes best practice throughout the industry. The ASFA Accreditation program recognises individuals who demonstrate superior expertise, education, professionalism and a ongoing commitment to professional development and the superannuation industry. Only members of ASFA (either through organisational or individual membership) are eligible for ASFA Accreditaion.

Professional Accreditation

Leaders in the super industry are recognised by ASFA as Associates and Fellows. The Associate title is recognition of an initial professional commitment to superannuation and ongoing professional development and can be awarded after three years’ service to the industry. Professionals with seven years’ experience and a demonstrated commitment to the industry are recognised as Fellows of ASFA.

Maintaining Accreditation

To ensure our accredited members maintain their professional currency and industry standards are upheld, ASFA has formal requirements that must be met in order to maintain ASFA Accreditation. More information can be found under Professional Accreditation.
