Team Super’s Vasyl Nair joins ASFA Board

Team Super’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Vasyl Nair.

The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA), the voice of super, is pleased to announce the appointment of Team Super’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Vasyl Nair, as a new Director to the ASFA Board.  

Vasyl was previously Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Team Super (formerly Mine Super). He has a strong background in law, corporate finance and strategy, having held senior roles at some of Australia’s largest financial services institutions.  

“We are delighted to welcome Vasyl to the ASFA Board, particularly at a time of great opportunity and growth for our superannuation system,” said ASFA Chair, Gary Dransfield.    

“Vasyl is a keen advocate for the ongoing development of the superannuation sector. He brings great energy and a wealth of experience and we are looking forward to working with him,” said ASFA CEO Mary Delahunty. 

“I’m proud to take up this position on such a capable Board and hope that I can contribute a small and medium fund perspective during a time of significant change for the superannuation industry,” said Mr Nair.
