In ASFA’s final webinar in the Payday Super series, speakers Matt Rea (MUFG), Sue Pearce (Aware Super) and Shane Moore (ATO) will reflect on the first eight weeks of Payday Super, highlighting key issues for funds and service providers.

The session will also look also ahead to the future of contribution processing and what’s next for the industry.

Members will gain insight into the real-world experience of Payday Super and SuperStream Contributions V3, to support operational responses, member and employer engagement, and future planning.

Shane Moore is the Acting Assistant Commissioner leading the ATO's Payday Super implementation and associated superannuation reform activities. Working closely with government, super funds, digital service providers and industry stakeholders, he is responsible for supporting the delivery of significant changes that will strengthen Australia's superannuation system.
Shane brings extensive experience in large-scale digital and regulatory reform and is recognised for his collaborative leadership, technical expertise and ability to unite diverse stakeholders around shared, practical and meaningful outcomes across the superannuation ecosystem.

Having worked in the superannuation industry for many years, Sue has experience in many facets of Regulatory Change, Administration, Regulatory reporting and complex SFT reporting impacts to regulators. Additionally, during the past 18 years she has been a member of ATO, SA, APRA and Industry Forums working on Regulatory Change, strategic Co Design, and advocacy. Assisting in achieving the best scalable administrative outcome for industry across many facets of contemporary fund with superannuation members always at the forefront of mind.

Matt has been closely involved in MUFG Retirement Solutions Payday Super implementation and represented MUFG across all ATO and industry technical working groups.
