This practical 1.5-hour virtual workshop is designed to support frontline staff to recognise the signs of vulnerability and provide appropriate, respectful and accessible support tailored to each member’s needs. It covers key characteristics of vulnerability, relevant regulatory obligations, early warning signs, member-focused communication strategies, and appropriate referral pathways.

- understand regulatory and organisational responsibilities
- recognise potential signs and indicators of vulnerability
- explain common triggers that can cause vulnerability
- respond in an appropriate manner to support and assist members experiencing vulnerability
- understand when, how and where to refer members to specialist teams or external support
- apply strategies for self-care and resilience.
