Financial advice in super – navigating the current framework and preparing for reform

About this event

Join ASFA Learning for a practical virtual workshop exploring the current regulatory framework for financial advice in super and the reforms set to reshape how funds support their members.

Presented by Emma Higgs, Special Counsel at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, this workshop will address the challenges that trustees face in providing guidance and advice to members, in particular, the regulatory requirements that constrain the development and implementation of the trustee’s retirement income strategy.

It will also provide an overview of forthcoming regulatory reforms, including the proposed New Class of Adviser, one of the most significant shifts affecting super in recent years, to help prepare for the changes ahead and identify opportunities for expanding financial advice capabilities.

You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what your fund can do now, what is changing, and how to prepare for the opportunities ahead.

Register now.
