ASFA Annual General Meeting: Board appointments
The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) is pleased to announce the ASFA Board has re-elected TAL Limited Managing Director Mr Jim Minto as Chair of the ASFA Board, until an independent Chair has been appointed, following ASFA members’ approval of a new constitution today. Mr Minto was appointed in November 2013, and has been an ASFA Director since November 2009.
ASFA is also pleased to welcome to the ASFA Board Mr Chris Davies, Chief Executive Officer, Telstra Super, who will replace Ms Roslyn Ramwell as a corporate fund representative.
“Mr Davies brings over 30 years’ industry experience to the Board. With his background in member and employer engagement strategies, Mr Davies is well placed to help guide ASFA towards decisions that improve the member experience for the millions of Australians with superannuation,” says Ms Vamos.
“On behalf of ASFA and its members, I would also like to extend our warmest thanks to Ms Ramwell for the significant contribution she has made to the Board over more than 10 years. Her commitment to delivering better outcomes for fund members, and to supporting the superannuation industry more broadly, has been invaluable, and she will no doubt be sorely missed,” says Ms Vamos.
