Kirsten Hannan

Managing Director, MAM Green Investments

Kirsten is a Managing Director for MAM Green Investments in Australia. In this role, she focuses on investments in utility scale renewable energy projects and businesses. Kirsten led Macquarie’s transaction teams for Murra Warra and Murra Warra II wind farms and has oversight of MAM Green Investments’ current portfolio of core renewables development projects in Australia.

During her time with Macquarie, Kirsten has held several senior roles, including advising on energy, utility, and transport projects, managing the evaluation, acquisition, asset management, and divestment of Macquarie Capital’s principal investments globally, and overseeing Macquarie Capital’s strategy, operations, and risk management as Global Chief Operating Officer.

Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, a Graduate Diploma in applied finance and investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (now FINSIA), and a Graduate Diploma from The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
