Lisa is a highly respected governance and legal specialist, who leads the Superannuation Advisory Practice at KPMG, as well as being a Partner in KPMG Law.
Lisa has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services where she has provided strategic governance and legal advice and insights to trustee boards and senior executive across a broad spectrum of areas, including trustee decision-making, trustee governance, core fiduciary obligations, transformation and operating models, material transactions (including M&A and successor funds transfers), simplification and rationalisation of products and funds, regulatory engagement and enforcement, remediation and conduct reviews and governance.
She has worked in senior legal and governance roles for three global law firms (both in Australia and internationally), as an in-house legal and governance executive, and an academic. Immediately prior to joining KPMG, Lisa had a dual governance and legal function at Colonial First State where she acted as the Chief Legal Counsel and General Manager of Trustee Governance.
Lisa provides senior leadership in the financial services industry as the Chair of the Superannuation Committee of the Law Council of Australia, as past Chair of an international legal organisation (IPEBLA) that represents over 30 jurisdictions, and through chairing superannuation conferences, and the continued publications, and speaking engagements.
