FAR is nearer than you think!

While the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR), which is likely to apply to superannuation funds in 2024, might seem a long way off, there is a lot for superannuation funds to do now to prepare for the regime.

This workshop is designed to help superannuation professionals comply with FAR and is being facilitated by Nathan Hodge, Partner, King & Wood Mallesons, and Sarah Yu, Partner, King & Wood Mallesons.

By attending you will gain an understanding of the scope of FAR as well as help in the development and implementation of your FAR compliance projects.

Key topics to be discussed include:

  • How to work out the entities and people in your organisation that will be impacted by FAR
  • Who will be accountable persons
  • What are the FAR obligations
  • How to embed FAR in your organisation
  • The role of APRA in FAR
  • Timeframes and planning for FAR

Who should attend?

  • trustees and directors
  • CEOs, and senior management staff
  • governance, compliance and risk professionals
  • those who support the board/trustee function
