About

Recent changes to the breach reporting regime for superannuation trustees has given rise to many questions about compliance with RG 78 Breach reporting by AFS licensees and credit licensees.

Facilitated by Sanela Osmanovic, Senior Associate, KHQ Lawyers and Natalie Cambrell, Principal Solicitor, KHQ Lawyers, this interactive workshop will provide you with practical guidance on how RSE licensees can meet their obligations to report certain breaches of the law to ASIC. There will also be an opportunity during the hour to hear from other attendees about how they are approaching these issues.

Key topics to be discussed include:

  • What has changed from the previous breach reporting regime
  • How to identify what needs to be reported to ASIC and when
  • Determination of material loss and damage
  • How to apply the new significance tests
  • The consequences of failing to lodge a breach report

Who should attend?

  • Trustees and directors
  • CEOs, and senior management staff
  • Governance
  • Compliance and risk professionals
  • Those who support the board/trustee function.
