Info

Dr Daniel Mulino MP is highly critical of the Government’s early release scheme which he says undermines the superannuation system. He is adamant the Government must honour the legislated Super Guarantee (SG) increase to 12 percent in order to deliver Australians a dignified retirement – as the system’s founders had designed and intended.

Senator Andrew Bragg says superannuation is a good idea. But that’s where their agreement probably ends.

Scathing about the current system, as famously articulated in his recent book Bad Egg: How to Fix Super, Bragg wants to overhaul everything from expanding the early release premise, linking home ownership, and of course abolishing the SG increase. And that’s just the beginning.

Please join us for what promises to be a lively and thought-provoking debate about the future of super, at a time when a world pandemic and early access to retirement savings has catapulted Australia’s $3 trillion super system into the spotlight. With the nation’s eyes transfixed on the current players and what happens next, it seems everyone has an opinion.

Don’t miss hearing from both sides of politics, take away some party policy insights, and make up your own mind about what’s in the best interest of superannuation members and Australia in the long term.

Not for the faint-hearted, but definitely one to watch.
