VIC Member Insured Benefits Discussion Group

The Member Insured Benefits Discussion Group is a forum to raise, debate and share information on topical issues in the superannuation industry which have a major impact on the payment of death, disability and insurance benefits.

The Discussion Group aims to assist funds to implement best-practice solutions in these fields, with a focus on meeting the business needs of the fund and members, in a timely and cost-effective manner and in line with regulatory expectations and precedent established by the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal (SCT) and the Courts.

Only ASFA members can attend Discussion Group meetings. To find out more about becoming an ASFA member see the membership section.
