Glenn Jenkins joined the General Management team of Mercy Super in early 2018 as Manager, Member Experience. Glenn brings to this role 20 years of corporate and retail superannuation experience to lead the customer-facing Contact Centre and financial planning teams. His responsibility and passion is to drive engagement and growth, and thereby deliver better retirement outcomes for employees of the Mater Group and several other affiliated Mercy Partners.
Glenn began his career in superannuation with Sunsuper in 1999, after more than a decade in retail banking. During his 17 years with Sunsuper, Glenn held roles focused on leading relationship, business development and administration teams. At the conclusion of his time with Sunsuper in early 2016, Glenn held the role of National Manager, Relationships.
After finishing with Sunsuper, Glenn took on a senior consultancy position with BT Financial Group in their Corporate Superannuation section. For two years, Glenn consulted to large corporate organisations alongside Westpac’s Commercial and Institutional Banks, both in Brisbane and Sydney. During this time, Glenn provided strategic guidance on large corporate tenders and built relationships with tender managers.
Glenn holds a Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance), a Diploma of Financial Planning, and is currently working toward his Masters in Business (Management). Glenn’s primary focus is stewardship and leadership of people, and ensuring great outcomes to members through effective education, guidance and advice.
