Emerging Leaders Discussion Group is ASFA’s group for professionals in the superannuation industry under 40.
As an Emerging Leader, you will get the chance to form relationships with a variety of people across the superannuation industry and meet like-minded under 40s at our NSW Emerging Leader Discussion Group.
The Emerging Leaders Discussion Group is designed to help you develop your professional skills in a fun and interesting setting and above all, is a chance for young people in the superannuation industry to have their voices heard.
Andrew Long
Retirement Partnerships Lead, TAL
Andrew has a decade of experience in the wealth management and superannuation sector, and is passionate about improving outcomes for members in retirement.
In his role at TAL, Andrew partners with leading superannuation funds to codevelop protection based retirement income solutions that provide members with greater confidence to spend their retirement savings by providing them with an income for life.
Prior to this, Andrew held various roles in retail distribution at Challenger and Colonial First State, where he worked closely with financial advisers to support them to deliver best practice advice outcomes for their clients.
Andrew is passionate about engaging with the next generation of leaders in the superannuation industry through his role as chair of the ASFA Sydney Emerging Leaders Discussion Group. Outside of work he is an avid reader of personal development books and is also a keen basketballer.
