Margie Kerr Director, Investments & Superannuation Advisory, Deloitte
Margie has over 20 years’ experience in the superannuation industry across all parts of the value chain. She is a Fellow of the Actuaries Institute in Australia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Margie has an intimate understanding of issues facing superannuation and insurance executives, and the ever-changing legislation and expectations from APRA and ASIC. This was developed in her role as Fund Secretary of a corporate super fund, in addition to senior product/ insurance management roles and as an insurance tender consultant for corporate master plans at an actuarial consulting firm. In addition, she was Strategic Partnership Manager for industry funds at an Australian group life insurer, where she was responsible for sustainability, product design, policy drafting, member disclosure, repricing, renegotiation of rates, preparation of tender responses, and implementation of regulatory changes. Margie also has extensive experience in data integrity audits and remediation of administration errors.
Margie is an active contributor to working groups for the Actuaries Institute as well as being Secretary of the ASFA Insurance Discussion Group.
