Online registration

  • You will need your email/ASFA ID and password to login and register online. If you don’t remember these details, please use the ‘forgot password’ function or contact our membership team.
  • You can use the Eventbrite system to register yourself and/or others for the 2019 ASFA Conference. You can also purchase additional guest tickets for the Conference Dinner, all in one registration.
  • Payment can be made by credit card online at the time of registration or you may choose to receive an invoice and pay by EFT.
  • Please note your registration is not complete until full payment has been received. If payment is not 100% complete prior to the Conference start, you will not be allowed access to the event.
  • If the invoice is being billed to your company, you will need your company’s ABN as part of the registration information.
  • If you are the primary contact managing multiple registrations, you will receive an email from Eventbrite with details of the completed registration and your tax invoice/receipt. All attendees on the registration will individually receive an email from ASFA with registration information within two business days.

Definitions of registration types

Members: includes employees of organisations who are members as well as individual members of ASFA. Note: If your organisation or individual membership for FY2019/2020 is non-financial at 30 September, non-member rates will apply.

Member group rate (5-10 delegates): available to all ASFA members who wish to register between five and 10 member delegates. Registrations must be from the same organisation and submitted at the same time for the discount to apply. This category does not apply to delegates receiving any other discount.

Member group rate (11+ delegates): available to all ASFA members who wish to register 11 or more member delegates. Registrations must be from the same organisation and submitted at the same time for the discount to apply. This category does not apply to delegates receiving any other discount.

Non-members: include employees of organisations who do not hold a corporate membership with ASFA or people who do not hold an individual membership with ASFA.

International delegate rate: a special discount available to non-members of ASFA who reside overseas.

Terms and conditions

Registration

Incomplete registrations (such as delegate name not supplied) will incur a $55 administration fee from Tuesday 3 September.

Substitution

Attendance at the ASFA Conference is only for the individual listed on the name badge. Registration cannot be shared. If the guest attending changes, a substitution must be received in writing.

Substitution fees:

  • Prior to Monday 2 September 2019: No charge
  • From Tuesday 3 September 2019: $55 administration fee incurred
  • From Thursday 7 November 2019: No substitutions permitted

If you have not paid at the time of cancellation, charges will still be payable.

Non-financial members: If your organisation or individual membership for FY2019/2020 is non-financial at 30 September, non-member rates will apply.

Cancellation

As ASFA incurs costs prior to the commencement of this event, the following policy applies to all cancellations. All cancellations must be received in writing.

Cancellations prior to Monday 2 September 2019 will incur the following charges (including GST):

  • Full Conference: $900 members | $1,330 non-members
  • Dinner tickets: $88
  • Leadership Symposium: $180
  • Additional Exhibitor Booth Staff: $365

Cancellations received from Tuesday 3 September 2019 will not receive a refund.

Conference name badge

You will be provided with a name badge upon arrival and check-in at the ASFA Conference. To gain access to the sessions and events included in your Conference registration, you will be required to tap your badge. Tapping your badge is also required to record your attendance and receive CPD points. ASFA will not be able to report attendance or provide CPD points for sessions where you have not tapped your badge or where access to that session is not included in your registration.

Your name badge can also be used as an electronic business card throughout the Conference. Simply tap your badge on devices held by ASFA’s supporting partners and exhibitors to provide them with your Conference registration details (your name, job title, email, company and phone number).

Lost name badges

If you lose your name badge, your details will remain safe. Only a unique ID is stored on the badge and it can only be accessed by the ASFA Conference tap devices. Staff at the ASFA Conference enquiries desk can also deactivate the badge and issue a new one for you.

ID must be shown before name badges are reissued.

Conference App

The ASFA Conference App gives you everything you need to plan and enjoy your attendance at this year’s ASFA Conference. It features the full program, speaker information, delegate list, session evaluations, event feed, social media links and exhibitor details. It’s the best way stay up-to-date with all things Conference. This app is exclusive to attendees of the ASFA Conference. ASFA will create your login to the app with your name, job title, company and email and send you an invite to login. Your profile will be set to private by default with only your Name, job title and company visible to other conference attendees. Once logged in you can choose to make your profile public, add further details and connect with other attendees through the app.

This year the app is powered by CrowdCompass by Cvent. Information you enter into the app will be a handled in accordance to Cvent’s privacy policy.

Insurance

ASFA will not be held responsible for any claims regarding travel, accommodation or registration related costs. Please obtain your own insurance if you have any concerns.

Photography policy

ASFA will be photographing and filming at this event for the purpose of reporting on the Conference and for use in future promotional material. Please be advised that by registering to attend, you give your consent to be photographed and filmed.
