Exclusive events

To make the most of industry-wide representation at the Conference, ASFA is hosting events for specific groups of delegates to network and discuss issues important to them.

Attendance at these events are by invitation only.

Leadership Symposium

Tuesday 28 November, 4.00pm – 6.00pm, followed by networking drinks until 6.30pm
KPMG Offices, Sydney
$495 per person

This year’s session will feature an exclusive afternoon workshop with Prof. Dan Ariely. An expert in the science of everyday decision-making, he will navigate us through the complicated landscape of trade-offs faced by superannuation fund members and the biases with which they approach their decisions in retirement.

Following the release of the Federal Government’s MyRetirement discussion paper, the session will examine the competing nature of retirement requirements including managing longevity, market and inflation risks, access to capital, and generating stable income.

This invitation-only event will provide an opportunity to understand and frame the best solutions for superannuation fund members in retirement.
