The superannuation industry's best marketing and communications campaigns were honoured this morning at the ASFA 2011 Communications Awards presentation in Brisbane.
The big winner was HOSTPLUS which scooped the pool, taking out four of the nine awards, including the first ever ASFA Comms Awards grand prize, Campaign of the Year.
HOSTPLUS, the industry super fund for the hospitality, tourism, recreation and sport industries, also took home the awards for innovation of the year, best use of public relations, and brand campaign of the year.
ASFA chief executive officer, Pauline Vamos, said a record number of entries were received across the eight Award categories open for entries.
"This has been the most competitive year yet for the Comms Awards with the judges reporting a very high calibre of work being submitted.
"My congratulations to HOSTPLUS and all of our winners and finalists for the excellent job they have done in communicating to and engaging members during this extremely important and challenging time for the industry."
Entries for the 2011 ASFA Communications Awards were judged by a panel of industry peers in the first round, with the top campaigns going through to a final round of judging by a number of industry and external marketing and communications experts.
