Governance and trustee training

Learn from the leaders in trustee and superannuation education

As regulators and the wider community bring the quality and efficacy of superannuation boards into sharper focus, trustee directors and fund executives are now facing increased scrutiny.

In this new era of heightened accountability and governance obligations, the personal liability of trustee directors has intensified. In light of this, ASFA has developed a Trustee Director Accreditation Program to provide existing and future superannuation trustees with the training they need to develop, improve and maintain their knowledge and skills.

Each course within the accreditation program will help participants better understand their roles and responsibilities and expand their skills as a trustee director. Courses can be completed on their own, or to build towards the Trustee Essentials Certificate. Professional experience and the Certificate can be combined to gain trustee accreditation.
