Traineeships
ASFA is proud to offer the Certificate IV in Superannuation as a traineeship program. This program allows employers to up-skill new and existing staff with a nationally recognised qualification funded by the Federal Government.
The Government will pay an incentive of $4000 to the employer for each eligible trainee.
ASFA will partner with you and the trainee to ensure that the education component and workplace assessments are completed within an 18 month period. This will ensure that your trainee completes the program within the Federal Government’s timeframe of 24 months.
ASFA’s traineeship program is open to both existing and new employees, including mature-age students. Traineeships currently operate in NSW, QLD, VICT, SA, ACT and TAS.
Employees who hold a prior qualification may not be eligible for funding. To determine eligibility, please contact the Australian Apprenticeship Centre in your state. AACs are responsible for:
- Determining the eligibility of your trainee for funding
- Signing up trainees and employers to the program
- Arranging funding of incentives
For contact details on the AAC in your state visit the Australian Apprenticeships website.
The Department of Education in various states requires ASFA to provide details of their past audit and currency of their status with ASQA in maintaining its Australian Qualification Framework.
