Government-funded Training

As a registered training organisation (RTO), ASFA Learning has the ability to access government funding for qualification-based study.

ASFA Learning offers ‘qualification-based’ courses ranging from a Certificate III level to an Advanced Diploma, across a range of superannuation and financial services-related areas.

For instance, the federal government will pay an incentive of up to $4,000 to an employer to upskill eligible employees to a Certificate IV in Superannuation.

There are certain requirements for accessing this funding and employees who hold a prior qualification may not be eligible for funding.

However, ASFA Learning will assist you through the process from eligibility assessment to application and reporting.

In addition to the federal funding available, there are also state-based government training incentives which, in some instances, can be used in conjunction with federal funding.

To determine eligibility for Federal Government funding, please contact the Australian Apprenticeship Centre in your state. AACs are responsible for:

  • Determining the eligibility of your trainee for funding
  • Signing up trainees and employers to the program
  • Arranging funding of incentives

ASFA government-funded training is open to both existing and new employees, including mature-age students. Traineeships currently operate in NSW, QLD, VICT, SA, ACT and TAS.
