The ASFA/CSA National Defined Benefits Discussion Group meets in Sydney and Melbourne. The group provides a forum for participants to discuss issues specific to the defined benefit sector of the superannuation industry. Discussions cover a variety of topics
including funding and solvency issues, structural constraints in the management of DB funds, legislative and regulatory developments, law reform priorities for the DB sector, pension liabilities, the impact of local and
international accounting standards and taxation issues affecting DB funds. |
