What we do

ASFA has been operating since 1962 and is the peak policy, research and advocacy body for Australia’s superannuation industry.

ASFA’s purpose is to help achieve the best retirement outcomes for fund members and there are a number of ways we work towards this.

Policy and research

The ASFA research centre is the heart of our advocacy activities.

Our team has a wealth of knowledge regarding policy making, investment, insurance, tax, advice, regulation and financial services in general. Its expertise forms the basis of all our submissions.

Conferences and events

ASFA Events are renowned throughout the industry as key learning and networking opportunities, and include our popular Budget Lunch and annual Conference, along with regular discussion groups, policy roadshows and briefings on key issues.

ASFA Learning

We are a registered training organisation and offer formal learning courses and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to industry members. As we’re immersed in superannuation we’re the closest to the ‘action’ and can provide front line insights as we teach.

Resources
