The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) is delighted to announce that it will host the second Asia-Pacific Pensions Forum in September 2012 at the Conrad Hong Kong.
The 2011 Asia-Pacific Pensions Forum brought together close to 200 senior representatives from 11 countries to discuss, debate and exchange ideas on the range of challenges faced by pension providers in the region.
The Forum provided opportunity to learn from other pension and retirement systems, and to strengthen connections with one another. By coming together we had the opportunity to:
- Share regional experiences in the governance of pension funds and investment management
- Exchange ideas on the latest trends within our region and globally
- Facilitate strategic dialogue on enhancing regulatory and policy settings of pensions.
Over 95 percent of those who attended last year rated the Forum as excellent and 100 percent of attendees said they would attend future Forums.
