Conference golf day
The ASFA pre-conference golf day is, without doubt, one of the most popular features of the ASFA National Conference, and this year will be no exception. Start your networking over a game of golf before the sessions begin the next day.
Places sell out quickly and numbers are limited, so we strongly advise early bookings to avoid disappointment.

For the fifth time running, the Greg Norman-designed course, Brookwater Golf Club, has ranked Queensland's best in the biannual rankings, securing a place in the top 30 courses in Australia.
Nestled amongst rolling hills within a natural bushland setting, this spectacular par 72 championship golf course comprises of two nine hole loops and measures 6,505 metres. Its varied terrain, landscaping and strategic design makes it a course of outstanding character and the perfect environment for a day of premium golf.
Located only 30-40 minutes from Brisbane's CBD, this magnificent course meanders its way through naturally undulating Australian bushland, with each fairway lined with towering eucalyptus on either side.

GOLF FEE
$275 per player
Registration includes green fees, motorised golf carts, light lunch, drinks and snacks on course, after golf drinks and BBQ dinner with drinks. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
CLUB AND SHOE HIRE
Golfers need to hire or bring their own clubs and golf shoes. Should you wish to hire clubs or shoes, please pre-book with the Pro Shop directly by phone: 07 3814 5500 or email golfshop@brookwatergolf.com
COACH TRANSFER
Coach transfers will be organised for 8.15pm to transport guests from Brookwater Golf Club and drop players at their conference hotels.
Please indicate on the registration form if you require a seat. The price is $39 per person.
The coach is not provided to the course, players are advised to make their own arrangements.
GETTING THERE
Brookwater Golf and Country Club is located just 30 minutes west of Brisbane CBD.
Taxi
A taxi is approximately $70 one-way.
DRESS REGULATIONS
Brookwater Golf and Country Club’s standard of dress must be followed at all times – players need a collared shirt and dress trousers or shorts (no jeans, beach shorts or track pants) and soft spiked golf shoes.
BAD WEATHER
The golf day will proceed in virtually all weather conditions. Should the day need to be cancelled we will contact the mobile phone number listed on the registration form.
THE COMPETITION
The event will be Ambrose, which is great for both social and serious golfers. The game is played in teams of 4 and offers golfers of all levels an enjoyable day. Individual registrations are welcome and will be allocated to a team.
There will be lots of great prizes on offer on the day.
HANDICAPS
Those people who have never held a recognised handicap will be granted the following: Male 27 and Female 36. However, a maximum team handicap of 11 will be allocated. For those who have held or currently hold a recognised handicap, your last known handicap must be used.
