What will the climate be like in November?
The November climate is usually quite hot with warm to mild nights. Even though it’s warm it is suggested that you keep a light jacket with you in case of a cool change and varying room temperatures.

Can I easily access banks and ATMs?
Yes, there are two ATMs situated on the main exhibition concourse. Other ATMs are available nearby in the South Bank precinct.

Is smoking allowed in public places?
Smoking is not allowed in most public buildings, including indoor bars and restaurants. A growing number of restaurants and bars have now set up outdoor seating areas, and some of those accommodate smokers. Smoking is not allowed within the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. This is a non-smoking conference.

What are the shopping hours in Brisbane?
Trading hours are generally Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm.

Late night shopping in Brisbane city stores is every Friday until 9pm, and at Brisbane suburban stores every Thursday until 9pm.
